This ongoing initiative is a step towards preserving and promoting the unique contributions of the Bodo people to the cultural fabric of Assam and beyond.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Inaugural Event of the Lecture Series on Bodo Heritage and Culture\u003C/p>\u003Cp>The first event of the 'Lecture Series on Bodo Heritage and Culture' was held on 16th November 2023, coinciding with Bodo Sahitya Sabha Day, a significant day in the celebration of Bodo literature and culture. The event featured an insightful seminar by Prof. Phukan Ch. Basumatary, a distinguished professor from the Bodo Department of Cotton University. \u003C/p>\u003Cp>Prof. Basumatary delivered a lecture on the topic \"Validation and History of the Bodo Language\", shedding light on the linguistic evolution, historical significance, and contemporary relevance of the Bodo language. His presentation explored the journey of Bodo from its ancient roots to its present status as one of the scheduled languages of India.
